Sloan & Company has been designated the General/Commercial Project Winner of the coveted "Excellence in Construction" award, given by DISCA for Sloan's outstanding work at Princeton University's Whitman College in Princeton, NJ. The award was presented by Giant's football legend and Hall of Fame inductee Harry Carson to Sloan at the 2008 Gala Awards Ceremony at Bally's in Atlantic City, NJ on Saturday Sept 27, 2008.
Sloan & Company has been designated as Millwork Project Winner of the prestigious DISCA "Excellence in Construction" award for Sloan's work at the Prudential Center (Newark Arena) at Edison Place in Newark NJ. The award was presented by Giant's football legend and Hall of Fame inductee Harry Carson to Sloan at the 2008 Gala Awards Ceremony at Bally's in Atlantic City, NJ on Saturday Sept 27, 2008.
"Project of the Year Award" was presented to SLOAN & COMPANY by Lafarge North America, DISCA's "TITLE SPONSOR" for their work at Union High School in Union, NJ. The award was presented to Sloan CEO Scott Casabona at the DISCA "Excellence in Construction" Awards Gala on October 5, 2007 in the Swan Ballroom of the Tropicana Hotel in Atlantic City.
Five member DISCA contractor companies (BLUEFIN CONSTRUCTION CORP., B.J. McGLONE & CO., INC., SLOAN & COMPANY, PARTYKA CONSTRUCTION, INC. and CORPORATE WOODWORKING, INC.) were awarded "Excellence in Construction" awards at the DISCA annual convention in Atlantic City on October 5th, 2007.
