In 1962 Sloan Acoustics was established as an acoustical ceiling contractor. Starting as a small contractor catering to a select clientele, Sloan Acoustics quickly established itself as a major force in the commercial ceiling industry.
As our reputation for workmanship and innovation grew, customers encouraged the company to offer a wider variety of services. In the mid-1970's, Sloan entered the Drywall and Carpentry business, experiencing steady growth during the building surge that took place in the decades that followed.
In 1988, Sloan entered the custom millwork business. The American Woodwork Institute has certified Sloan as a "Premium Grade" Manufacturer, Finisher and Installer of custom fabricated woodwork entitling them to label all products for compliance with AWI's stringent quality standards.
Sloan Acoustics officially changed its name to Sloan & Company in 1995, better reflecting its position as a full service interior/exterior systems contractor. Sloan & Company's day to day operations are overseen by its Executive Team consisting of Scott Casabona (President & CEO) and Eric Takach (Senior Vice President).
